Red Maple Flower

After a couple of days photographing people in New York City it’s nice to be back with the flowers in the rain.  “The City” is a very interesting place though.

Spring

No economic or weather report here, just cut flowers while we wait for the cruelest month.

Just add lights.

National Gallery of Art underground walkway

How to make a boring underground walkway exciting, just add lights.  I wish we could add lights to the economy.  The new President is the light in American Government.

Blood Orange Slice

This is real and it was tart and sweet and very orange like.   This entry is going to be about the economy, just to take a look at a slice of it, so if your tired of it or not interested you can stop reading now.

I’m not an economic savant and like almost everyone my economic transactions are purchases, not sales.  I have been a seller in the past, just not right now.  I’ve been quiet for a couple of months and have taken down many of the posts I’d written and thought I’d re-invent the notes part of this blog.

I’m just wondering if we are asking the same people who caused this mess to fix it by throwing money at them.  Would that be a new definition of insane?  I’d like to see some serious congressional hearings about how this all happened, not the dog and pony show congress has given us so far.  Let’s get serious, we have a lot to learn here about the relationship of the government to the economy and the buyers, the producers and government regulations.  We may learn a lesson that will keep this from happening for another 70 years, like they learned the last time.
